Like everything else in the LOEWENBRAEUKELLER it has - of course - a long history. It was opened in 1883 and has been actively integrated in the Munich cultural scene ever since. Famous bands played here at the turn of the century, amongst them the renowned Wiener Deutschmeister and the even more famous American march composer John Phillip Sousa and his brass band.
